I just received an E-mail from someone that sent their son to Stone Hawk.
Here is parts of that E-mail:
Greg, My husband and I have recently experienced the criminal intent of
Narconon, StoneHawk.
We took our 25 year old son to Stonehawk on Nov. 3, 2006 for alcohol
and marijuana abuse. I spoke with them for several days before we
drove him 8.5 hours from Tennessee to Battle Creek. We were desperate,
as it sounds like you and your wife were, to get help for our son.
#### only stayed 17 days.
He has a strong Christian background, and I think that is the main
reason he walked out of the facility.
They put him in the Motel 6 in Kalamazoo and gave him $8.00
to eat on. He left the next day and went to a homeless shelter. He
refused to go back to Stonehawk, saying the place was evil and God was
not there.
At first we thought it was a manipulation tactic, but now after
reading all the stuff on Stop Narconon, we believe him. He is
back in our town now, but staying with friends.
We have been told by Per Wickstrom that we will NOT get any of our
money back, but that our son can come back at anytime.
Please let us know what we can do to RUIN this place. We will do
whatever necessary to help stop this CULT from continuing to be in
business and take money from people with the only intention to help
their child.
We had to pay $24,900 and a $500.00 deposit for medical expenses.
The difference between this story and mine is:
same motel but my son got $10.00 when he was drop off.
They raised the price since my son has been there
