Thank you for your coverage of the release form that Scientologists are required to sign in order to obtain their "religious services."

It is important that people learn of the manipulative and deceptive nature of this organization, not only to protect them from becoming its next victim, but also to alert them when dealing with its many front groups, such as Narconon or Applied Scholastics. These front groups are seeking tax dollars and to insert themselves into our schools and court systems, while never offering one iota of proof that their programs work.

No program or procedure based on the "works of L. Ron Hubbard" has ever undergone independent testing for safety or success, and in the end these front groups only serve as recruiting arms for Scientology.

I am continually amazed at the ignorance of politicians and officials who buy into the fraudulent claims made by Scientology and its many front groups. You do a great public service by helping to expose the truth about what Scientology is and does. That release form is just a small peek behind the curtain.
