It's interesting that Scientology's front group, Narconon, is being
given a chance to revise its program in order to continue working with
children in the San Francisco public schools. Surely there are more
legitimate programs available. Regardless, this puts Tony Bylsma,
Narconon's education director, in a difficult spot. To revise this
program is to alter Source, the writings of L. Ron Hubbard, which is a
high crime within Scientology. I have provided a few suggestions to
make his job easier.
1. Drop "educator and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard." The man was a
college dropout and pulp fiction writer!
2. Quit teaching that all toxins are stored in fat. This has been
debunked as junk science.
3. Drinking a glass of cooking oil does not "restore fat," nor does a
sauna cause the body to lose fat.
4. The toxic doses of niacin administered to practitioners do not "run
out" radiation and toxins. Niacin expands capillaries, causing a flush.
Practitioners are told that is the radiation leaving their bodies.
Niacin at those levels also can cause permanent liver damage.
5. Stating that Narconon and Scientology are seperate is a blatant lie.
The courses are identical.
6. If the school district is going to continue using the Narconon
program, parents should be required to sign a permission slip
acknowleging that their child has permission to take Scientology courses
on school time. It's a requirement for sex education, and Scientology is
demonstratively more dangerous.
The name "Narconon"® is trademarked to the Scientology
organization through one of their many front groups. The name
"Scientology"® is also trademarked to the "Church"
of Scientology. Neither this web page, nor this web site, nor any of the
individuals mentioned herein assisting to educate the public about the
dangers of the Narconon scam are members of or representitives of the
Scientology organization.
